a) One Day
Refresher
This course is designed for the previously trained
operator who has undertaken and passed the basic operational skills
test, on completion of this course the operator should be able to
operate his/her truck to a level of standard and again be awarded a
Certificate of Basic Operational Skills.
Maximum Trainees: 3 Per Course ( Previous Certificate must
be available for inspection.
b) Two Day
Course For Existing But Untrained Operators
The two day course is designed for the operator who has
not been tested on a lift truck but has had 12 months or more
continuous experience.
During the two days the operator will be trained in the correct
operating procedures and will be tested on:
1, Pre-shift Inspection Test
2, Theory Test
3, Practical Skills Test
On completion of the above tests he/she will receive a certificate of
Basic Operational Skills.
Maximum Trainees: 3 Per Course
c) Three Day
Course - For the operator that already has some previous experience.
This course is designed for the operator who has had less
than 12 months continuous experience on a lift truck, and will be
taught how to operate the lift truck using the correct procedures.
At the end of the course he/she will have undertaken the 3 tests
detailed on the 2 day course
On completion of these tests the operator will receive a certificate of
Basic Operational Skills.
Maximum Trainees: 3 Per Course.
d) Four Day
Basic Training Course Novice or Beginner
The four day course has been designed for the novice or
beginner, the operator will be taught all aspects of operating a lift
truck including Health & Safety/Introduction to the truck/Pre-shift
Inspection/Theory/Practical Skills.
On completion of the 3 Tests the Operator will receive a certificate of
Basic Operating Skills.
Maximum Trainees : 2 Per Course
e) Five Day For Novice or Beginner
This Course is designed for the complete beginner, he or
she will be taught over 5 days in all procedures relating to the
operation of a lift truck.
As the course duration is over 5 days it is ideally suited to train up
to 3 Novices.
Maximum Trainees : Up to 3 Novices per Course
